Publication ethics and integrity
QES Academic Press supports responsible scholarly publishing through clear policies, due process, transparent corrections and protection of the scholarly record.
Core publisher-level principles
- Authorship and contributorship should be accurate and transparent.
- Conflicts of interest and funding should be disclosed.
- Research involving humans or animals should include appropriate ethics information where required.
- Allegations of misconduct should be assessed fairly and confidentially.
- Corrections, retractions and other post-publication updates should be issued when warranted.
- Editorial decisions should remain independent from inappropriate commercial influence.
Important: do not claim membership in, endorsement by, or indexing in any organization or database unless that status has been formally confirmed. Individual journals should publish their own detailed policies.
